Our mountain guesthouse is located one mile away on the outskirts of the village, which colonial church is beautiful. All amenities are found in the village (bank, restaurants, supermarkets,doctor, dentist, chemist, DVD shop etc.). Vue du lac de la Casona del Cafetal The Cachi Lake, 15 min away, offers a lot of water activities and we can offer you a lake tour on our small fishing boat. In the Charrara Nautical Center you can hire boats, Jetsky or make a watersky tour. Inside the center there is a swimming pool, Bar, Restaurant and you can do your own BBQ. In the Tapanti National Park you will discover the primary rain forest, the Rio Grande de Orosi, thermal springs, and many bird and tropical flower species can be found in the surroundings. The opportunities for hiking, horse riding, mountain biking are countless and you can hire motorcycles, mountain bikes and quads at the nearby village. Description

About us : Chalet Orosi is a family owned guesthouse. We, Frank and Marie-Claire Burton and our youngsters Maelle and Ronan, are very enthusiast to welcome you soon in our chalet. We are a french family and live in Costa Rica since 1997. For this time we offer you our fully remodeled guesthouse "Chalet Teca" who is a studio-chalet for 2 to 4 persons with a private spa on the terrace. In a February 2008 we plan to offer you our new vacation rental "Chalet Cipres" with 2 bedrooms for 4 to 6 persons with a private spa on the terrace. Soon to is comming our holiday rental "Chalet Cedro" for 2 persons in a more intimate ambient. The booking will be effective upon a deposit of 50% of the total amount, due at least 8 weeks before the stay. The remaining balance has to be paid 3 weeks before the arrival date. Payments : Payments can be done by bank transfers or by major Credit cards via Paypal. Should cancellation occur, if it is done after the first payment, but before the balance payment, a basic fee of 30 Euros will be retained. If it is done less than 2 weeks from your stay, we will retain the entire payment, unless we are able to rent the property again at the same dates. We strongly advise you to purchase a travel insurance which will cover cancellation fees or charges due to damages.
